Does this sound familiar?
You want to refresh your interior, without another major renovation
Microcement and decorative plaster are chosen for a cohesive architectural look, a continuous SEAMLESS surface and a stylish, textured, natural-looking surface. It is a material with a distinctly natural character, familiar to both the eye and the touch. Individual character comes from colour, texture, grain and sheen.
01.What is microcement?
Microcement is a modern decorative finish. It is chosen for its seamless surface and striking, stylish appearance. Everyone can find a shade and texture of their own.
Easy maintenance and cost-effective renewal are especially noticeable when a suitable, sound substrate can be retained, unnecessary demolition avoided, and time and budget used more efficiently.
The material is used on walls, floors, ceilings, furniture, kitchen surfaces and fireplaces. In some cases, it can be applied over sound tiles or another existing substrate — only after assessment and proper preparation.
In wet areas, it is not just the decorative layer that matters, but the entire system: a stable substrate, waterproofing, reinforcement, microcement and a protective finish.
02.Benefits — and honest limitations
We do not promise that one material will solve every problem. First, we explain why people love microcement — and what must be considered before deciding.

Not sure about your property?
Send an enquiry, then send three photos via WhatsApp — we will check whether we can start with a remote assessment and what needs clarifying.
04.Where can it be used?
Each area faces different demands. Rather than applying the same approach throughout the home, we choose the preparation and protection for each surface.

06.Why you can trust us
Katja Evs is a designer and the lead designer at NORDIC Studio. She approaches each project with an understanding of layouts, lighting, material combinations and everyday use. Where needed, she can offer an individual style selection.
Before work begins, we agree on a sample, the method and the scope — so expectations for colour and texture are clear from the outset.
You do not pay for our workers’ travel or accommodation. We work throughout Finland and Sweden, regardless of distance.
07.How the work is carried out
Below is the typical application sequence. The exact plan depends on the area, substrate, moisture conditions and chosen material system.
Allow around 7 days. The timeframe may vary with the amount of preparation, the area and the required drying intervals. An approximate timeframe for microcement application only, excluding additional work.
08.An easy way to get started
The first step takes a few minutes and involves no commitment.
